The South Eastern European Journal of Public Health (SEEJPH) is an open-access international peer-reviewed journal involving all areas of health sciences. SEEJPH welcomes submissions of scientists and researchers from all over the world pertinent particularly to Eastern European and other transition countries in the world.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts (original research articles, reviews, and short reports) are evaluated by two external reviewers, who are asked to rate the importance and relevance, originality and scientific added value of the manuscripts. The Editors make every effort to get the reviews done within 4 weeks after submission. SEEJPH employs a single-blind reviewing policy which implies that the names of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors. Publication Frequency

For the time being this new journal is publishing 2 Volumes per year at the end of the first and of the third quarter.

Accepted contributions are published immediately in the Current Issue.

 

Open Access Policy

SEEJPH provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The South Eastern European Journal of Public Health is obliged to and acts in accordance with the codes of conduct and international standards on publication ethics and publication malpractice established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and available free of charge on its website (http://publicationethics.org/). SEEJPH conforms to the “Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals”, as specified by the statements of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (www.icmje.org).

SEEJPH adheres to the basic principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical Association (http://www.wma.net/en/20activities/10ethics/10helsinki/). If human participants are involved, a statement of approval by an institutional review board (IRB) and the participants’ informed consent should be provided. If IRB approval was not obtained or sought, a short explanation is required.

  1. that this Article is original work, has not been published before and is not being considered for publication elsewhere;
  2.  that I have obtained permission from copyright holders to reproduce material in the Article, and that I have acknowledged the resource;
  3. that this Article contains no violation of any existing copyright or other third party right or any material of an obscene, indecent, libelous or other unlawful nature and that, to the best of my knowledge, this Article does not infringe the rights of others;
  4. that in case of Article with many authors I have obtained copyright assignments from all co-authors in writing, and authorization to enter into this Agreement on their behalf and that all have read and agreed to the above warranties;
  5. That I and all co-authors of Article will pay the respective publication fee as specified in the South Eastern European Journal of Public Health:

– for reviews 100 EUR

– for theses/dissertations 100 EUR (short summaries are free of charge)
